Brief Job Description:
Individual to join the AirTran Reservation Team and accept the responsibility of promoting a positive and productive relationship with AirTran employees and customers. Will be accountable for the day-to-day operation of the reservation center including meeting service level goals and maintaining an effective and efficient operation. Must be goal oriented and flexible in accepting assignments. Will be accountable for call distribution between ATL and SAV Reservation offices.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain daily telephone service levels.
- Run daily operations reports.
- Forecast scheduling needs to meet daily service levels.
- Relay consistent and accurate information to Reservation Management Personnel.
- Administer undertime/overtime when necessary.
- Control the activity of employees while off the telephone and ensure correctness with regard to pay.
- Respond to customer service concerns.
- Monitor phone calls and coach, train, and provide guidance to all reservation agents.
- Identify scheduling needs of departments.
- Understand the basic principles and policies of AirTran Reservations.
- Ensure daily documentation is correct so as to eliminate payroll and timekeeping errors.
Qualifications:
- Belief and support of AirTran Airways’ Guiding Principles: Safety, Courtesy, Pride, Teamwork, and Innovation
- Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship (current or future)
- Ability to provide 10 years of employment, education, unemployment history per FAR 108.33
- Successful completion of FBI criminal history check that reveals no felony convictions in most recent 10 year
